Nicole Bianchi, N.C. Nutritionist
Nicole is a nutritionist, certified by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals, who helps clients develop food plans for themselves and their families according to their individual needs, situations, health challenges and preferences. She sees private clients in her office at Advanced Health in San Francisco.
Nicole is trained in the Eating for Health® model, which embraces two powerful maxims —“food is the best medicine” and “know thyself.” She graduated with honors from Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts, and she is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. Nicole also has a B.A. in Media Arts and Journalism from the University of Arizona. She lives with her husband, two daughters and Labrador retriever in Marin County.
Her areas of practice include gastrointestinal health, including inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome, as well as family nutrition with an emphasis on working with teenagers who not only seek tactical guidance on what to eat, but support in navigating mainstream diet culture and in making balanced choices to promote their health and well being in high school, college and beyond. Nicole also works with women who are approaching perimenopause or are in perimenopause to slow down aging and rev up metabolism using lifestyle and nutrition.
Nicole has authored various articles, teaches and speaks on topics that relate to her work including the intersection of nutrition and agriculture, shopping trends and parenting. She is an empathetic guide when it comes to coaching individuals and families through difficult eating situations into realizing what a powerful, positive impact on a healthy relationship to our food can have on our lives.
