What is stress?

Stress is the body’s reaction to a situation that makes the mind and/or body uncomfortable. It occurs when we feel rushed, overwhelmed, or unprepared on how to successfully complete a task. There are external stressors like work, family responsibilities, or the fear of receiving criticism.
