Improving Blood Oxygenation

With every breath, you replenish and renew what was exhaled. We often forget what a delicate process this is.

For example, you can breathe in more oxygen and exhale less carbon dioxide in fast nasal breathing. This often occurs when the brain is overthinking and instructing the heart to beat faster and harder

The reverse is also true: you can breathe out more carbon dioxide and inhale less oxygen in the form of fast mouth breathing. In both scenarios, one is hyperventilating leading to poor delivery of oxygen to the powerhouse of the cell, the mitochondria.  This leads to poor production of energy, respiratory acidosis and increased blood acidity level

Quality, deep breaths provides the powerhouse of the cell, the mitochondria, with a sufficient amount of oxygen to function properly. The mitochondria is responsible for repairing and maintaining all of the body’s tissues and organs.

Poor sleep quality is often associated with repeated interruptions in breathing and poor blood oxygenation. Cell recuperation and repair become depleted, while inflammation and cancer cell growth increase. A classic example is subclinical to clinical sleep apnea leading to symptoms such as:

  • Feeling tired 24/7 despite “adequate” (ie., 7-8 hours) of sleep duration

  • Feeling foggy in the morning and/or in the afternoon

  • Feeling agitated throughout the day

  • Morning headaches

  • Clenching or grinding teeth

  • Waking up in the middle of the night to urinate

  • Gasping for breath while you sleep

  • Loud snoring

  • Falling asleep when you don’t mean to

Every breath counts with restorative sleep. On average, blood oxygen levels are usually slightly lower while asleep because the rate of breathing is reduced, which is a natural part of the sleep cycle. While sleep apnea causes marked drops in oxygen levels, smaller drops in oxygen can also be harmful, such as in subclinical sleep apnea.

In order to boost (aka., turbo charge) blood circulation and better support the parasympathic nervous system, consider circulation therapy via BEMER. BEMER does three simple things extremely well.

  1. Better Supply of Oxygen to Cells by 30%

  2. Better Supply of Nutrients to Cells

  3. Better Disposal of Metabolic Waste and Detoxification

Since 1998 the FDA-registered medical device, BEMER, has specialized in electromagnetic energy regulation technology.  BEMER gently assists the heart in delivering blood to the smallest vessels in the body, the arterioles. Its primary goal is to use a pulsed electromagnetic field—abbreviated as PEMF—to deliver a patented therapeutic signal that mimics that of the Earth’s magnetic field. The BEMER signal helps improve the impaired pumping movements of very small vessels and promote needs-based distribution of blood.*

BEMER circulation therapy is changing the way we think about our health, challenging our understanding of the human body, and empowering us to reach optimal physical condition in a natural, non-invasive way. Proper blood flow plays a critical role in our general health.  BEMER vascular therapy can improve healthy microcirculation naturally by laying on the mat for only 8 minutes twice a day or even while sleeping.

We at SF Advanced Health are excited to offer BEMER circulation therapy for our patients since we strongly believe in prevention and empowering patients with tools they can utilize themselves in order to deliver dramatic results. For more than 20 years, the benefits of BEMER have impacted millions of people around the world. It is easy-to-use and non-invasive.  If you are interested in trying out BEMER, contact us to learn more.
